Smith of Katava is not working or fun

I wanted to make a totem build that triggers fire spell on hit... does not work.
Then I wanted to use it with raging spirits... triggered fire spells does not summon raging spirits.
Manifest weapon does not stack on the spell on hit either.
is it just bugged or do they not want to have fun.

I feel like the point of the game is to make cool builds and have fun, but if nothing works together what is the point.

Please fix this, thank you!
