Black Chambers appreciation thread

This section was just amazing... it completely surprised me, and yet at the same time fit perfectly. There have been some real gems in this game already, as far as campaign design, but this section makes Lunaris Temple 2 timid (and not by just doing the easy "more gore")

Now I understand why Doryani's Machinarium was hidden so deep in the delve mines... some things are meant to be left buried.

I hope they keep up with this level of creativity. Campaign thus far has been great as far as aesthetic, lore, and music goes. Gameplay is mostly great (I never played pre Dawn of Hunt, and I agree melee definitely is hard mode compared to magic/ranged, but it's manageable), but I hope they keep tweaking and improving. The look, sound and feel of the game so far is amazing (with the exception of the return of Sanctum... worst mechanic from POE1 has no place usurping something as amazing as Izaro's labrynth).

I agree. Black Chambers is one of the areas that really feels like PoE 2, both visually and in how enemies are designed.
This more than anything gives me hope for the future of the game.
And its the place, when you run out of maps, you can get some.

It's DOOM3 POE style.
While the snow remains,
veiled in the haze of evening,
a cold leafless branch.
Flowers are only flowers because they fall,
but thankfully the Wind.
probably the best campaign map. between the look and the eerie background music it feels like an original fallout vault but twisted
I think aesthetically it's one of the best environments that has ever been created for an ARPG.
I always appreciated the enemy saturation and enclosed hallways. It just felt "right"
