Hi guys,
I have got an armor it has this roll: Current Energy Shield also grants Elemental Damage reduction. Does anyone knows what % of the Elemental Damage reduction does it gave us? the armour is called Silks of Veneration Enlightened Robe. Last bumped on May 1, 2025, 3:45:45 AM

Wiki says it works by using the armour formula.

Does it means it will apply my armour and resistance to the sheild?

I've tried this chest on ES-only character for some time, honestly this modifier feels like another noob bait from GGG. It looks cool, but first, it works off current ES, not maximum ES, second, even max ES tend to have lower values than well-scaled armor rating on pure str characters. In the end I swapped this chest for another and not felt any difference from losing this modifier. It isn't working great for the same reason as having only 2-5k armor isn't working great.

" This means that the current amount of ES will reduce ele damage taken, just like armour reduces phys damage. This does not interact with armour and phys damage. It only reduces ele damage in addition to resistances. |
