I guess the Devs don't actually play the game...
So the gem destruction bug. I get the statement that they didn't test for item destruction. But if they logged in at all, then they would have experienced it themselves, would they not? Does that not mean they never actually logged in and played it?

I used to be deeply into another zombie survival game — its design really encouraged hardcore, thoughtful gameplay where you genuinely had to fight to survive. So imagine my disappointment when I tuned into a dev stream and saw them running around the map yelling “wow!” while playing in the most inefficient way possible, on the easiest difficulty, mindlessly destroying everything in sight with zero punishment for their mistakes. That explained a lot, including some previously baffling design choices. I'm afraid we might be looking at a similar situation here. The developers’ face while playing:

Why would they need to? They have lots of willing game testers who pay them money.
