Infinite load screen- Please halp

Hi, hope all is well. I have an issue where I'm stuck on a loading screen infinitely. I've leveled a monk to 54 at the end of act 1 cruel(standard) and can no longer play the game. I started a new character as part of trouble shooting and that works just fine and everything authenticates. I was getting excited for end game content, so you may be able to imagine my frustration. If you can free my dude from whatever whimsical cyberprison he's been whisked off to, I would be forever grateful.
