Is the Recombinator bugged or have I been more insanely unlucky

I have tried this exact or very close to recombination with similar odds 45 time and blown up 90 Gemini Bows. With a 12% chance and 45 tries there is only a 0.3% chance I wouldn't get at least ONE success. At this point I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

The recomb chance is WAY too low % wise. It needs to be tripled. I dunno why GGG is so afraid of letting people have easier access to good gear. The best gear will still cost a fortune and be a chase.

It's not you. The rates definitely aren't what they are shown to be. I failed quite a few things to recomb in a row that raised my eyebrow but the biggest giveaway was 5 fails in a row to recomb a 42ish percent chance.

The odds of failing 5 attempts each with a 42% chance to succeed is about 6%, which is unlucky but not improbable.

i understand it's not improbable but it is highly unlikely. And if it was just this one instance i'd be inclined to let it slide as being very "lucky". But this piled on the other recombinator experiences let's me safely assume the shown rates are bs. And and this moment i doubt anything could change my mind.

I recombed countless spears, hit a T3 Phys + flat 2 times
Those with 6-7% chances, most of the other spears had 20%+

Maybe there is a slot machine mechanic included

I'm over 100 Gemini Bows down and still nothing the odds of that happening based on the chances as printed in game are 0.167%.

I feel like that's getting toward statistical significance saying the odds are not what they show in game.

I had the worst thing possible happen to me, where the first time I recombined something it had a 9% chance and it worked. That was the only time it's ever succeeded for me, now several other things have failed, even multiple things with a 48% chance.

Feeds my theory of the slot machine. You first need to dumb enough coins, before you can win again, no matter the odds
