Locked out of game

I'm having an issue with being locked out of the game, wondering if anyone else has encountered this and has any ideas of a fix.
I completed trial of chaos and before entering trial master area I portalled back to my hideout to get something. When I portalled back to the trial area I got stuck on the loading screen. I'm seeing the trial of chaos load screen and the two cogs spinning but it's just stuck there.
I've turned my PlayStation off and on a few times but it's still stuck.
Totally locked out of the game.
Any ideas how to fix this or is it likely a bug and my lvl 94 character is now effectively gone?

Happened to me twice, I had to restart the PS5 PRO I play on top get back in on both occasions.
