Sulphuric Caverns no path to boss arena

Unless I'm blind, the map generated for my instance of Sulphuric Caverns had no path to the boss arena.

Looking at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxbnOtTS8YA&ab_channel=DjefGames it seems like there should be a bridge to the boss somewhere in the map, but there was none for me.
