Still No Resolution After 4 Weeks – ToMeter#3233 Account Locked After Hack

I'm posting on behalf of my friend ToMeter#3233, who’s been locked out of his Path of Exile account for 4 weeks after it was hacked around 12/04. He can't post on the forums himself and is very concerned he won’t have access by the time the new league starts. * Hack Date: ~12/04 * Email Recovered by ToMeter: 14/04 * Account Locked by Support: 16/04 ToMeter regained full access to his long-time email just two days after the hack and has already provided Support with all the requested information to prove ownership. However, the account is still locked and linked to the attacker’s email. In the meantime, he managed to recover over 40 other compromised accounts — PoE is the only one still unresolved. He’s a long-time player who simply wants to get back into the game. If there’s anything else he needs to provide, please let us know — we're really hoping someone can take a second look at the case and help move things forward. Thanks for reading and for any help you can offer! P.S. We understand Support is busy, but after a month of waiting, it’s becoming pretty disheartening especially considering how much we love this game. Last bumped on May 10, 2025, 7:51:59 AM

As mentioned in our Customer Support Update from January, due to the massive increase in tickets from Early Access, we've fallen behind our usual standard. Thanks for the response — we completely understand the current backlog and appreciate the work Support is doing. That said, it’s been over a month since ToMeter submitted all the info needed to verify ownership, and his account is still locked. He recovered his email days before the lock, yet nothing has changed. It's disheartening to see long-time players waiting this long, while priority understandably goes to new PoE 2 players. We’re not trying to jump the queue, just hoping this case can be resolved soon. He just wants to play again. A quick confirmation that the case is still moving would be really appreciated. |

Yeah, exactly... and that’s why we’re even trying through the forum. It’s honestly a damn shame that after all these years of supporting the game, the only option left is to publicly plead for help just to get an account unlocked. And to add to the frustration, the only reply you get is a damn copy-paste message.
