Atlas boss points not rewarded

I've seen some other posts about this, but most of them seem to be people making minor errors or bugs that occurred in other cases. The closest to what happened to me that I found is https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3709816, though I haven't tried their fix yet.

I had 8/10 points, with 2 coming from completing the Arbiter quest. I entered a T16 waystone with +2 area level (giving monster level 82) and defeated the boss, but it didn't drop a passive book. The map I completed was Wetlands which has a double boss (devourer). Otherwise the map was fairly standard.

Update, the fix posted in the old thread still works. If you remove the arbiter points from your tree you get the book. The other map I did was a spider woods, on the freak chance it was something else.
