hellhound and companion cant used together

I can confirm. Not sure if it is designed to count as a companion (doesn't bother me if it is) but there is another related bug as well.

I cannot get rid of Hellhound so that I can use another companion. The game won't let me. I removed all skill gems and even made sure Hellhound skill was deactivated for both weapon sets.

It even lets me activate another companion skill ( once I switch Hellhound from ON to OFF) but in-game the Hellhound still shows up instead of the actually activated companion skill.

I really don't want to run Sekhemas again just to unspec Hellhound because it's broken. Gives me a headache just to contemplate that as the only option.
