[0.2] Incinerate/Flameblast Ignite Infernalist - T4 pinnacle Viable

I made an ignite incinerate/flamblast infernalist in 0.1. Decided to give it a try this time around and see how far I could push it

I make use of the Unique spear (saitha's spear), on weapon swap, to aggravate ignite and deal double dmg. Without further ado, here's the build.


BUGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT

There are currently 2 bugs with this build.

1. When you allocate Zone of Control with the unique jewel Megalomaniac, it turns off ur blasphemy curse aura setup every time you enter a different zone. You have to constantly manually turn it off and back on again ON EVERY NEW ZONE YOU ENTER.

2. The Pyromantic Pact node in the infernalist ascendency doesn't work when ever you enter a new zone. You can still cast incinerate but you don't generate any infernal flame. THIS IS BAD. On high infernal flame you gain 50% of dmg as extra dmg and we want this. Luckily this is an easy fix. Cast either Solar Orb or flammability curse and it will return to normal.

SETTING UP CONFIG SO YOU DON'T CAST SPELLS ON WEAPON SWAP ***Very important***

I use Saitha's Spear on weapon swap with Rapid Assault. You need to set up ur weapon set correctly so you don't cast spells on weapon swap you. The video up above shows this.




STATS/DEFENSE



60% block
90 fire rez
Temp chains

Altered flesh
20% of Cold Damage taken as Fire Damage
20% of Lightning Damage taken as Fire Damage
20% of Physical Damage taken as Chaos Damage



GEAR

You want to get gear that gives you:

90 max rez
75 chaos rez
60% block
Some mana on gear
Life Regenerated per second on atleast 1 piece of gear. (20 life regen or higher)

You need a minimum of
205 intelligence
101 dexterity
Put the remaining into strength

There are certain mods that you need on ur items (explained below)

WAND



+5 to fire spells
Cast speed
2 mods of Gain as extra fire/light/cold/chaos
spell dmg

If you can't find/afford exactly that then

+5 to fire spells
Cast speed
3 mods of Gain as extra fire/light/cold/chaos

will be fine as well


SHIELD



Sunplinter Array Buckler with "30% increased block chance" corruption mod.

+3 to fire spells
+3 to maximum fire resistance



RINGS



Cast speed and Increased fire dmg are what you want the most.



CHEST



Flaconer's Jacket Base with atleast 41 spirit


BELT



Infernoclasp with +5 to max fire res. (3 charms is nice to have)


AMULET - +3 to All spell skills

BOOTS - 35 movement speed (30ms is ok as well)

MEGALOMANIAC

Zone of Control is all you need. The other node is up to what you can afford

I found one with a block node which freed up a mod on my rare jewel but its not mandatory.



RARE_JEWEL

+7% increased block chance
+% go magnitude of ignite
Other mods are up to you (life regen is nice or fire dmg or elemental dmg)

(dont copy my jewel. I could use it cause of my megalomaniac having a block node on it)






FLAMEBLAST DAMAGE EXPLAINED

There are 2 things you need to remember to deal big dmg with flameblast.

- Saith's Spear (on weapon swap)
- Seething Body (Gain 50% of dmg as extra fire dmg while on high infernal flame)

Channeling skill update their damage dynamically. What this means is that if you have a buff that give you more dmg, for instance, on a periodic buff, when the buff becomes active you'll gain the added dmg to the skill ur channeling skill as long as you haven't cast it yet.

We have such a thing in Seething body. You gain 50% of ur dmg as extra dmg when you are on 65% or higher of ur infernal flame. This means you need to realease max stacks flameblast when you are at 65% or higher of ur inferanal flame/mana.. After playing for a bit you'll be able to eyeball when you're on infernal flame with ur mana in the corner or ur eye. There is an icon at the top that tells you when the buff is active to pay attention to how much flame u need to activate it.

After casting a max stack flameblast on high infernal flame, then you run up to the enemy and use rapid assault. Aggravating bleeding on the enemy will aggravate the ignite on the enemy. This mean the flameblast you just cast will deal double dmg. The ignite on the monster becomes brighter and more pronounced. You'll understand when you see it.

Then you proceed to continue casting incinerate and make sure ur flammability curse is active.

You need to MAKE SURE YOU CANNOT CAST SPELLS ON UR WEAPON SWAP. This is very important and I have a vid for those who might not know how to config it in the Videos section.
