Hey customer support. I'm a friend of YannickGoris#1408, We go way back and enjoyed playing path of exile together with some more friends for quite a while now. Me and him started playing during perandus league. I value the security that you guys have too protect our accounts from theft, but I believe its about time my friend can join us again in the fun on his own account. If there is any information that I could provide or help with too speed up this process I'd greatly appreciate it. For example how long he has been on my friendslist in combination with me having acces to my own account and vouching for him being who he says he is. (The one and only original creator and owner of the account in question.) I'm not here too tell you how too do your job but cant you see a pattern in activity on his account since he applied for recovery or something? You have to understand that anyone would get frustrated at this point especialy if you have supported ggg and invested in a decent amount of mtx to enjoy during playtime. I Hope that he can join us again in our fun very very soon.

I too can confirm this is my good friends account. We've been patient for months now.

PoE2 launch was supposed to be memorable for out little clique but we missed out on the great input and fun Yhaan provides.

We fell out of touch for a while but I believe we rekindled when legion dropped. We farmed the ritualist hideout together during ritual league and it would be unforgiveable if he loses all thise mtx!

Emails them and only respond to them, don't try to bump the ticked with more mail.

They have stated recently that they had over 500,000 tickets since November, you would be lucky if they have 30 support staff (last confirmed they had 18 people in 2018)

While unfortunate, they are not going to take "other people's word" to verify the ownership of an account, this thread is absolutely wild.

If they indeed had over 500,000 new tickets (with 500,000 Max CCU) related to account manipulation requests or shop requests, system was shockingly bad in the first place. GGG had all the time in the world to attach 2fa. Not google auth, just generate keys on the website and let users pick their own 2fa app. Then account security won't be hanging on a single email which is outside of GGG control. Total amount of tickets will be reduced.

They could also finally add render preview for all MTX in the shop, applied to specific character, not just show 1 video of another character. And add 1-3 hours refund period in case user finds out new MTX is glitching in combat when casting certain skills (happens more often than you think). Tickets will be further reduced.

They could be less aggressive about automatic bans, both in chat and in game, as this spawns more tickets someone has to review.

And so on.
