Let us earn exp on simulacrum once again ( at least it should be optional earn/lose exp )

So i used to run simulacrums on standard and it was nice cuz u could get exp there. Then GGG removed it on the Dawn of The Hunter without ask us if is that was what we wanted.

I understan that they made it so new players can have the experience on the content which is very hard when u dont have a decent gear. So i have some ideas..

Let us turn on/off the mode where you can earn but also lose exp on death.

Or.. Leave T1/2/3 as it is now and at least set T4 as gain/lose exp.

So new players can enjoy the content on the easiest modes and leave the hardest tier for strong players who can run the contet without the fear of die and lose exp..

Let me make is simple: creep give xp, Boss none.
Imagine i like farming Simulacrum, hate mapping, my char need to be at least lv90 to farm t3 Sim, now i have to levelling to reach 90 (which i dont like) to finally farm Sim. Plays 1k hours later, my xp didnt move an inch, then what do i need to do to power up? Back to mapping i guess, when mapper alrdy reach 98ish or stm.
Maybe this is the way GGG want player to play specific content and not just focus into 1, or smt else i dont know, but zero xp really hurts Sim enjoyer.

Guy, please be a little bit reasonable.

People were screaming daily at GGG (some of them very impolitely) to make pinnacle encounters more accessible and GGG listened.

They give us the first 2 pinnacle points for "free." They've added retries/portals to lower tier encounters. They removed XP loss which lets us try these fights whenever we want without risk.

You might not like that part of these changes was the loss of your XP farm strategy but saying the made the change "without ask" is absolutely insane. We can't accuse them of not listening to players when they don't make a change based on feedback and then when they DO make a change based on feedback accuse them of doing so without asking permission like ffs can you let them have a win?

First of all, gaining zero XP doesn't "hurt" you.

Secondly, if it's the content you enjoy then not gaining XP shouldn't change that. If you can't enjoy the content without the XP then you're not a "Sim Enjoyer" you're an "XP farmer."

People are still complaining about 1 portal in T3 pinnacle content too. I just played 12 hrs of D4 and am already in torment 4 beating the hardest bosses having skipped the campaign. It really is the most brain numbing slot machine experience, yet this is what many people are asking for.
whats with all this "optional" stuff?

"Optional" experience loss on death.

"Optional" experience gain in Sims

GGG doesn't do "Optional", we all have the same exact game, we will NEVER get a function that fundamentally changes the game in any capacity as a setting .

No, we want a game like POE 1 and SIGNIFICANTLY more challenging -- what we were originally lied to and told we were getting 5 years ago.

POE 2 was never supposed to be, it was originally just a new campaign for POE 1, pick whichever campaign you want -- Then they let it get so out of hand, it's a poorly made 2nd game.

Most of us "super players" or "No lifers" or "1%'ers" whichever you call us -- are done with the game in a few days time, having done everything already..

For many of us the difficulty in POE 2 is about a 3/10 -- this is seriously amongst the most easy games i've ever played in my life. We are mostly severely disappointed with POE 2. They promised a hard game and delivered nothing.

brother I'm not even talking about POE1 players. I am talking about the people who complained about POE2 being too hard and are still complaining that it is too hard. I referenced D4 as an example because D4 has been dumbed down in various ways to the point where it has lost all excitement and real challenge, to me atleast

Oh I feel you, just stating us POE 1 players had expectations too, and they told us to go f ourselves with those expectations.

We wanted a game different from POE 1 as well, but different =/= worse. Worse is NOT acceptable. It can be the same, or better. Not worse.

POE 2 is worse across the board on every single level from items to too much dialog to skip in act 4 (did anybody ever heard a word of it? I'll never heard that dialog ever)
