Looking for recommandations on 3.26 SSF Guardian builds using Link Skills with mercs

I am planning to try the new endgame update/league in softcore SSF and I would like to build around empowering/sustaining my merc with auras and link skills, even though we still don't really know about their survavibility and viablity, particularly in SSF.

I would like to farm the revamped Betrayal league for the sweet xp, now-fixed board state and new rewards so we would need some tankiness, hence my inclination to play a Guardian especially with the reworked Unwavering Faith Ascendancy Passive Skill which grants 30% increased Reservation Efficiency of Skills.

As far as link skills I was thinking about Soul Link.

I have no idea what skills to play or what auras to rock though because I never try other ascendancies or archetypes and don't look at what builds people are usually playing in general.

I am open to your ideas, let's discuss!

I was thinking about this too. The reality is that it's a meme, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun, and I really think it'll depend on the merc's defenses (considering how intercepted damage is calculated based upon the linked target's defenses, not yours). For Soul Link, I was thinking about a LL Hybrid Heatshiver cold+fire build, with Zealot's Oath, massive ES and ES recharge, and as many aura buffs as I can squeeze in. The big issue here is, it would probably need a Coruscating Elixir before even considering the use of Soul Link. Could also potentially have an Animated Guardian with a Kingmaker, though it'd be pretty expensive if it died.

Every different way I've tried to PoB it either sucks, is full of unknown variables, or isn't league start or SSF friendly. So I'm open to hear what others can make of this, because it could actually be fun even if it's not super viable
