Introduction Step into the fray with one of Path of Exile’s most kinetic and visceral melee builds — the Cyclone Shockwave Slayer. This is not a build for those who stand still and wait. Anointed Enigmatic Defense on our amulet grants additional block and spell block chance when you've blocked recently — perfect synergy for a build that blocks constantly. Whirling Barrier and Steelwood Stance further scales our block chance. Coupled with a Rumi's Concoction, this gets our attack and spell block to 65%. In endgame investment, dual Forbidden Flame and Forbidden Flesh jewels allow access to the Gladiator’s “More than Skill” notable, which grants lucky block to both attack and spell block, a massive boost that pushes the build to near 90% block cap. Returning after a few years of absence... I am asking myself why Infused Channeling is no longer used in Cyclone builds. Is Impale that much stronger? Couldn't you save the talent points and just use a slighlty different build with Infused Channeling which also adds another 10 % less damage received?
