Two quality-of-life suggestions for 0.3
Poe2 is a great game with incredible potential. There are issues now, and new ones will arise, but I believe its development will follow an upward spiral—one step back, two steps forward (and not the other way around). I didn’t play Poe1, and it seems like (the first wish) is already fully realized, but I decided to write this post to share my thoughts with GGG.
I have a few 0.3 wishes that would already help me avoid tilting. These are related to endgame: 1.Dummies for damage testing. In 0.2, I had to run T3 and later T4 Rift Bosses just to check how much my damage changed. While fine-tuning my build, I tested three different support gems for my main skill, which meant four full runs (one test didn’t even work properly). And before that, I did about a dozen runs just to test the concept. That’s just polishing—before that, I spent weeks trying to figure out a viable concept and turn my Mercenary into a Boss Killer. With dummies, I could’ve done it in a day or two. Thankfully, boss runs were cheap. I have a couple of interesting build ideas, but I won’t bother testing them—the process is too tedious. Though now would be the perfect time before the new league. Maybe a set of dummies (matching different enemy levels) could be a paid feature? (Players, don’t hate me for this.) 2. A "Buyout" stash tab. Imagine I have a ring, and I know exactly what price I’d be happy selling it for. I’d love the ability to put it in a trade tab, tick a "buyout" checkbox, and later receive the currency in my currency tab (or from Alva?). (Price-fixers and trade bots, don’t hate me.) And I guess there should be a dupe alert too? These two improvements would significantly improve my gameplay comfort. Thanks for reading! Last bumped on Jun 12, 2025, 5:14:50 AM

This is my first post here - maybe I should've put it in Discussions instead.

I fully agree here. Especially on the instant buy-out point. It's just annoying when you have to keep writing to dozens of people on the trade site until someone responds, because most of them are dumping ads. If you look at certain items, you see the same item for pages on end from the same player who never replies.
