how to download patch? any advices?

Not giving me an option to download either on PS4

" PS4 does not have the patch yet. Only the PS5 client does. If you have a PS5, you can download the PS5 client and you seemingly have a 50/50 if it will be playable. Most of my friends are online and playing the PS5 client, but me and a handful of others cannot download the patch...and are just stuck watching our friends do the race to beat the story and while we click "check for updates". |

" I'm in the (sort of) opposite situation. None of my friends are able to play. Everyone in the "you need an update/game is up to date" situation, all on PS5. I managed to download seemingly a different game file on PS5 by going into share screen of someone who is playing and downloading from the prompt to download their game.
It’s taking way longer than the other download and has a different file size so here’s hoping this one works. Will update if it works |
