Quest "The Dweller of the Deep" is bugged

Hey guys,

just wanted to let you know, that the Quest "The Dweller of the Deep" is bugged and is not completed when you kill the Dweller. So it also doesn't count for the Challenge "Quisitive Quandaries".

I don't know if this is reason but the Dweller doesn't drop his essence. Tried it multiple times.

This is a bug with the challenge, not with the quest. Currently the challenge objective is erroneously fulfilled by completion of The Fetid Pool, not Dweller of the Deep.

Are you sure it's not being hidden by your item filter? I just went back and killed it again, and saw the essence drop.

can confirm - the quest says "deweller of the deep"
but i got completion after i did "A DIRTY JOB"

+ "A DIRTY JOB" works

IDk if this will work, but when i encountered this problem i talked with the npc that gives you the mission and it checked as completed.

I went back and talked to the npc on the far right as well and then got it
