Spectral Shield Throw with Pierce

Hi
The Spectral Shield Throw gem description says the main shield projectile cannot pierce. However, when I link it with the Pierce Support gem, the main shield projectile pierces, in conflict with the gem description. Thanks Last bumped on Jul 21, 2025, 1:56:23 PM

I'm getting the same issue with the "Pierce" and "Piercing Shots" passives. Plenty of mobs for the spectral shield to chain to, but it just pierces through the main target and continues on its trajectory.

Can confirm, spectral shield throw's main projectile pierces even tho its not supposed it. It messes up the clear of the skill by quite a bit.

Yep, both normal and shattering versions have gotten something from the Thrarthan version and cant chain/fork properly due to pierce.

SST is piercing with any mod that causes pierce. It is supposed to provide pierce to the shards, not the main projectile, this impacts heavily on the clearing of the skill. |

Recently started a SST bleed build. Sad that it's still not fixed. It feels so bad with pierce vs 2 rare mobs, you have to line them up and without pierce your clear potential goes down. Please provide fix GGG.
