Betrayal - Syndicate Safehouse Small window of opportunity

When reaching enough progress for a safehouse, it appears you have until the next Syndicate encounter to open the safehouse, otherwise it will reduce the progress. Note: By encounter, I don't mean the next map, I mean within the same map.

I'm unsure if this is intended behaviour with the new betrayal, and assume it's a bug as this was not how it worked before (which required one or more maps with syndicate to occur before lowering progress) and this new way has negative side-effects.

Assuming this was intentional then one solution to avoid this would be to open the safehouses immediately while inside the map. However, this isn't always possible as there's not enough space to spawn portals around Jun, and you can't control where she stands. The only choice then is to either avoid the next encounter (basically impossible if it's intervention) or lose the map and open the encounter outside of the map. Neither option seems particularly great and, at least personally, I generally prefer opening the safehouses in my hideout as opening them in maps has previously caused issues.

bump, i have the same problem
Also bumping this, I got the same issue and I don't think it's an intended behavior because it makes safehouse almost impossible to run in certain map layouts.

bump. can i add something. i have 2 syndicate member running unranked and when i have a chance to up their rank some random member get demoted to 0 rank. and i cant even do 2-2-5-5 because of this.
Bump, Same issue, obtained and lost two safehouses in one map >.<
same issue, makes betrayal much less worth it
