Alt Tabbing Causes Black-Screen for 3 Seconds (Fullscreen Windowed Mode)AC

In fullscreen mode, tabbing or clicking onto a second monitor causes a black screen for 2-3 seconds - this is expected. However I am getting the same behaviour in full screen windowed mode, making the usage of trade site on a second monitor painful.

Standard windowed mode does not cause this issue, however this causes boarders around the whole window.

I've tried changing to Vulkan/DX11, updating GPU drivers, resetting config, etc, but I am still having this issue.

Any news?

I've found multiple reports of this exact issue from posts between 2018 - 2024, but none of them seem to find a resolution.

Seems like a reoccurring bug, and GGG being the indie Company they are, are seemingly unable to resolve it once and for all.

It seems that "windowed fullscreen" is not actually correctly applying, and the game is still in fullscreen mode

I have the same issue, running fullscreen windowed mode swapping to full screen and back to windowed full fixes it for a few clicks then it goes back to being black screened, happens on all rendering settings dx11/12/vulkan.

After messing around with nvidia controll pannel multiple monitors, swapping primary back and forth, has been a fix for me (20mins in time of writing).

(Not sure to to pinpoint the actual fix as i was just messing around with the dual monitors settings)
