What is going on with the disconnects?

So I'm a new player, and I played all of yesterday without but 1 disconnect. I'm in California. Latency is fine. But today I cannot do anything. Try to change renderer to Vulkan to see if that's the issue in or out of game, disconnect, walk into a zone and do anything other than stand at entrance of it, disconnect, try to do anything other than sit in town it seems to cause a disconnect. I just don't understand what is going on as the game was running just fine yesterday. It's very discouraging to attempt to learn a new game, even just trying to understand the campaign when it is constantly disconnecting.

Servers are broken, thousands of people getting disconnected at once. Cannot do anything about it. GGG is completely silent about it.

I too am curious why they do not say anything about it. Let us know on what they f'd up and how or why. Is it gonna be fixed soon? Should I keep hope its fixed? Will I lose 500 maps if I play for the next week? This is by far the worst experience I have had with a new league release in years.

In the past servers would crash put you in a X hour long queue you would probably go to sleep after your 2nd/3rd crash then come back the next day and everything would be fixed with them apologising for w.e happened but this is just sad.

One year of nothing then you get hyped for the new league and end game and bam unplayable game. The league is fun too and the end game seems interesting at least for me.

CA here - no issues whatsoever.

I'm on the DC Servers and ever since the patch its dropping frame, freezing, stuttering, And as of right now. Anything other than sitting in town simulator ,its not playable. Friend group having the same issue.

FIX EU SERVERS FFS

Also having disconnect issues in US East. Been dealing with it since last Friday on launch day. Tried changing from DX 12 to Vulkan to DX 11 but nothing helps.

The game has been unplayable for nearly a week now. Constant disconneqts regardles of server and constant lag in game. Fix the servers ffs.

As I said yesterday, I played this weekend with zero issues. I downloaded whatever garbage patch they put out and now I can't stay connected. So I played with zero disconnects during the peak playtime over the weekend yet on weekday mornings I can't stay logged in. I just want GGG to say SOMETHING about this. Give us some information, I get you moved 90% of your resources to PoE2, but either fix PoE1 or shut it down so we don't expect to be able to play a game you'll never update the servers to be able to run. Pick a lane and actually drive in it.
