Kingsmarch Map device crash to desktop

Hello,

I want to preface this by saying this happened in Standard therefore I do not expect this to be an issue in league.

Sometime ago during a league switch, some players in standard have come in the possession of "tierless" maps.
These maps look the same as a normal map but when hovering over the item in your inventory or when pressing alt on it, it shows no map tier.
It does show the monster level (varies) and area level (which is 1 for some reason)
I don't remember exactly how this happened anymore but it has to do with the Courtyard Map specifically.

For whatever reason I decided to put one into the Kingsmarch mappers' map device.
The map seems to be stuck inside that map device now.
The moment I put it in, the game immediately froze and crashed to desktop.
Upon interacting with the map device (while the map is now inside) the game freezes and crashes to desktop.
The map device however is interactable (i can hover over it and click it).

This means one of the map devices is now potentially not functional anymore.
The mappers are still doing their job however but I fear it will crash again.
I will interact with the device later after enough time has passed for the mappers to have done their duty and report my findings.

Edit: mappers are done (no more active portals), still crashing

Edit2: I can open the map device again. However, once I hover over the map the game crashes to desktop.

Edit3: personal issue resolved. Was able to take out the map in the very short time between hovering over the map and the actual crash happening.
