Do Trarthan mod items have any special indication?

Or do I need to look at every single item of each mercenary....every single time?

Do infamous item mods cause the item to have a special border or do you have to scan each item?

I'm running tier 10 maps, and I believe I haven't seen a single one yet. But I really really really don't want to keep checking every piece of gear, nor wiki all the possibilities.

Far as I know:

Only Infamous Mercenaries can have Infamous mods.

The items are not recognizable as such without reading the affixes. Affix names are "Infamous" or "of Infamy".

Most Infamous Mercenaries have exactly one Infamous Item. There however seems to be a small chance that an Infamous Merc has zero or 2 Infamous Items.

Edit: Chance (in Ossuary, not sure if different in maps) for a Merc to be Infamous (with player at max fame) is maybe ~6%-7%

really, its that high of a chance for an infamous item? I haven't seen a single one as far as I know and I've run across a lot of infamous mercs at this point. Easily 20+ during maps.

Perhaps I wasn't looking close enough.

They should really have a special border though: having to read every mod (assuming you want one) is archaic design.

Yes the items should look special to make them easier to recognize.

^I know what the mods are....I'm saying READING them in-game, on every item, every single time, just to find the one you want is ridiculous.

Having the poedb or wiki tell me what they are does nothing for me in the actual game.
