Can you make a build to mirror a merc's?

So I was wondering, are these merc builds ones you can actually make? For instance some of the slam mercs actually play the way I would want, and they seem pretty effective. But it seems they can leap way faster as if being pulled to the target, and their skills seem to come off cool down so fast compared to ours.
Just seems to me mercs are built the way most people would like to play the game, but from their skill gems, I don't know if it's possible. Last bumped on Jun 22, 2025, 7:09:47 PM

Well what gets me is the speed these mercs can move with no gear. They remind me of the Barbarians on top of Mount Arreat in D II. Which of course is how everyone who played a melee ever wanted to play.
