Incarnation of Dread Softlock

I was running Incarnation of Dread(not story version) and died in the third roses phase. When I respawned and entered the arena, the blue rose was in the doorway and I was unable to avoid picking it up. Since I had died, I needed to get the red rose and bring it to the boss, but couldn't because I had picked up the blue rose.
I tried delivering just the blue rose, picking up both and running into the boss but nothing worked and it bricked my run.

Same happened to me just now (non quest version).

Died while having to bring the petals to the boss and then got locked out of bringing the petals to him.
Died, both petals respawned, brought blue first (as quest stated) but the quest didnt update to red. Repeated that for the last 4 portals I had. Even waited a bit in the middle but died eventually.

So either its not collecting the petals (even though the petal-thingy vanishes where you pick them up) or the boss does not accept them once you died with the buff/tag when you collected them the first time.

Quite an expensive bug with those invitations going for about 2 div. :)
