Cannot log into a specific character - Abnormal Disconnection

Attempting to log into my SSF Merc character "JasmineMercuria" (Elementalist) automatically boots me back to login screen. This does not occur with my Berserker JasmineQueueSlam

Happens to me as well , sometimes takes multiple attempts to log in. also going between zones in the acts says failed to join instance

I'm having this issue as well on my occultist. I created a new character to test and it seems to be working.

I'm also experiencing this issue on just one character, an old one in Standard League. I was last using it to test some ward gear months ago with no issues, but now every login attempt is immediately (no time spent loading) met with the same abnormal disconnection error - Failed to join any instances. Character is VaalVaalVaalVaalVaal. Failed to connect over a dozen times with only this character, but was able to login with 3 other characters with no issues.

Managed to log in with no issues with the problem character after changing from California realm to Washington DC realm.

Using portals, waypoints, trying to talk to NPCs causing game to fail to join any instance or exit to the login screen.

Not sure if this is the solution here, but I was having this issue with my occultist until I removed my Poet's Pen from my character's gear/inventory. I was having a hard time logging in and going to town until I entered a new area without a poet's pen. Suddenly the issue disappeared.
