Is the POE Servers under attack tonight? What gives?

Hello!
Our clan hasn't experienced any lag since the update and tonight we've been seemingly all getting the worst choppy servers, including in our hide-outs, maps - towns. The game is literally unplayable right now - I took to reddit to see if anyone else was experiencing this and it seems like there is - How come there is nothing being mentioned about this on any official forum? Just out of curiosity, where are you located? I'm trying to figure out the common thread for the US people having issues because my personal experience has been damn near flawless.
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.
