Elemental Resistance bug?

Have been at End game for a while, and my had all resistance over 75% day before yesterday, but now, all the stats are funny, i.e.

Fire Resistance

Helmet = 37%
Shield = 55%
Amulet = 15% (all elemental resistance)
Right Ring = 15% (all elemental resistance)

Total = 122% (-60% reduction), Fire should be at 62%

BUT only showing 20%


Cold Resistance

Helmet = 14%
Shield = 30%
Left Ring = 41%
Right Ring = 15% (all elemental resistance)
Amulet = 15% (all elemental resistance)
Body Armour = 14%

Total = 129% (-60% reduction), Cold should be at 69%

BUT only showing 52%


Lightning Resistance

Right Ring = 65% + 15% (all elemental resistance)
Amulet = 15% (all elemental resistance)
Gloves = 28%

Total = 123% (-60% reduction), Lightning should be at 63%

BUT only showing 75%


Something is seriously wrong here!!!!!

I assume you're playing using controller?

The controller UI doesn't tell you which weapon set you have active. If all three resists were lower, I'd think there was an issue somewhere else...but with lightning resist being higher, it's easy to think you got swapped to the other weapon set, and haven't swapped back--even if some skills are assigned to only your main weapon set), which is an issue I don't think has come up for keyboard players.


For example, if your other weapon set has a shield granting +13% to all elemental resistances:

Fire resist would be (55% - 13%) = 42% lower. 62% - 42% = 20%
Cold resist would be (30% - 13%) = 17% lower. 69% - 17% = 52%
Lightning resist would be 13% higher. 63% + 13% = 75% capped (76% uncapped)

I have now unequipped my weapon 2, rebind both weapon and shield, the Stats level given on the Resistance dashboard indicates all Elemental resistance capped at 75%. However, the detailed stats indicates as follows:


Fire Resistance 20% (uncapped 20%, max 75%)
Cold Resistance 52% (uncapped 52%, max 75%)
Lightning Resistance 75% (uncapped 76%, max 75%)


Don't know which I should believe....

and now mapping, all stats resume as normal.....
