High average ping/latency on Canada East servers (not lag spikes)

Since the launch of the Mercenaries League ping on the Canada East server is higher than usual. I went from having an average ping of ~15 to ~80. My friends have also faced the same issue and i confirmed that this issue persists with 3 different ISPs (Virgin, Sogetel, Bell) and locations with different computers (which are ~150km apart).

I also have this issue. It would be nice if it were fixed for next season.

The instance servers for Canada East are for some reason most often located in Vancouver, causing the 80ms ping. It has been this way since at least January this year, with the occasional appearance of a server in Montreal.
The login server continues to show low ping. |
