Nadir mode/Apex mode not working

The nadir mode and apex mode jewels dont seem to be working to increase/decrease the crit of the skill (fross for me). I have pinpoint and intensify on the skill and the stacks dont give me any change to the crit chance of the skill.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
