Remove stupid drowning orbs

Just killed by these stupid drowning orbs 6 times.

There is no way to evade if you're in narrow space.

Not to mention, it's impossible to notice those dumb orbs among a bunch of monsters, and you get instantly killed without even knowing what happened.

Just role over them and never look back. Only time you actually have to engage with them is eater tutorial fight and there they are harmless.

Sounds like someone has not played risk in T16.5/17s. Some of the maps blend in perfectly with the orbs. You can barely see them. Harmless? NOPE

Look, in essence, I agree with how drowning orb is as mod. It modifies the map rather than the player, it's a threat, and you technically CAN play around it.

But fuck me. There's got to be a better way to challenge us than "HAHA, YOU DIE BECAUSE YOU GOT SLOWED BY AN OBSCENE AMOUNT / GOT BODY BLOCKED BY A MOB AND YOU HAD NO COUNTER."

This shit spawns on top of you. It's scaled by map mods so buff / debuff time modifiers affect it. It gets visually blocked by most mobs AND animation skill effects. It slows your action speed so if you're not playing Jugg or Trickster or Garb of the Ephemeral, good luck. And it's a fucking insta-kill with no defense counterplay whatsoever. Who the fuck thought that was fun?

If you make them permanent, spawn in certain areas of the map, cap the distance in which they follow you, then sure, it'd be tolerable as a mod because it's effective area denial similar to awakener's desolation or exarch runes albeit with different effect.

The way it's implemented now.. "Oh, you accidentally blinked into it because it's hidden by a crapton of shit from your view and now you don't have a movement skill while it also has a scaled timers from map mods? See you in your hideout/standard, bozo!"

As a summoner main, they're even more aggravating, because of the chaos your swarm is causing, making it difficult to see them before they're already on you.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

They are harmless where they belong(eater fight) is what i meant. In Settlers league when i farmed t17s i rolled over them because they are to annoying while looting. Now that you mention this new scarab i can see where all the complains come from, hahaha...but it is called "of risk" after all
