Map dont spawn what its supposed to when using scarabs.

my bud and i yesterday did a lighthouse map toghter and was like where is the abysses?
we then eventually found some and was like hmm we are still atleast 2 short but figured must be us that have triggered an abyss and missed it...

Today i just ran a map..
I used 2x Abyss Scarab and the Abyss map craft.
That should give me a minimum of 3 Abysses..
Well there was 1 and im sure i didnt trigger a single other abyss as there was no random hoard any where on the map..

Forgot to add the map modifier said.
"contains additional 5 abysses"
But yeah there was only 1..

In the map i did after there was 3.. despite it said there should be 5 additional
