LOST ITEM

I was dragging my chest piece perfect rolls falconers w/ chaos res to check how much stats it gives me. Then i suddenly got disconnected. Usually when this things happen the item is in the cursor when you relog. But not this time. My item is gone. What happened? Is it retrievable?

I contacted support and they dont have the answer. Nice poe support
