Can't pick up soul core to finish Trial of Chaos

Could not pick the item up for whatever reason. I tried clicking a few dozen times to no avail. Trial fails. I stopped playing for a week because of unkillable rares on maps - and then I come back to this tonight. This stuff has to be fixed ASAP. Nothing feels worse and makes a player more angry than failing because the game is broken.
