pilfering scarab

There is definitely something broken with the pilfering scarab. t17, deli orb with boxes, 2 plenty, pilfering, altars with duplicating and extra currency cards, around 2 divination boxes and after clearing the map the boss drops this:
 I mean, from one divination box alone you get at least something like this:  No matter if t16, t16.5 or t17 maps, it´s my farming experience with pilf scarab for days now. Not a single good card, no zing, nothing. Last bumped on Jul 26, 2025, 5:36:03 PM

The only viable T17 map for Pilfering is Fortress because all other T17s are multi-boss maps that will simply eat your cards. Multiple T16s like Tower have the same issue.

" Is it intentional? POE wiki say "The increased damage and Toughness applies to all of the default bosses in a multi-boss map. The pilfered divination cards only drop from the final map boss. This scarab's effects do not apply to map bosses spawned through other methods such as Destructive Play, Domination Scarab of Terrors, or Horned Scarab of Pandemonium." At least a little warning that almost all your cards are destroyed in a multiboss map would be great. All bosses are harder and the payoff for the challenge is no loot at the end? sick. |

Multi-boss maps like City Square work fine. It's specifically multi-boss maps with phases like Abomination where the minibosses are coded to drop no loot.
