Drop nerf during league?

GGG, is it possible that you'll adjust the drop rate during the league based on your interests? I felt like at the beginning everything was a fest, with everything dropping, but now, when you can invest the most, nothing drops. Is it possible that you do those things? Or do you keep the drop rate the same throughout the league? Which I wouldn't give much credit to, but I'd like to know your answer. If so, it would be good to know so I can stop investing my time in the game.
