Master Surgeon and crafted mod on life Flask

It seems that crafted mod on life flask prevent me from using them while being full life. They can be used while not on full life and will lingers until the end of the effect as intended. I've tested it with 2 different life flask, different prefixes and no prefixes, same outcome. Last bumped on Jul 27, 2025, 6:37:55 PM

" Master Surgeon does not grant the ability to use life flasks while on full life. That comes from conditionals such as the life flask mods like become immune to CB you have on currently. If you want to use a different flask with some crafted modifier instead of CB immune, you can take a flask mastery for 4% life on flask use which gives the life flask a different conditional to enable being using on full life. |

Is it only with CB mod ? because it doesn't work (without the 4% mastery) on a similar flask with the hinder/maimed suffix which has the same exact wording.

" Sorry, I don't remember the reasoning for that. I just know it has been bug posted a number of times before that it doesn't work with Hinder flask. To add some more context:
In 3.15, the flask mods which give "Removes <ailment>, Immune to <ailment> during flask effect" were changed to give "Immune to <ailment> for X seconds if used while <ailment>". The hinder/maim flask mod was added to 3.16. Life flasks being usable when unreserved Life is full may be a property the older modifiers had, related to the "Removes <ailment>" line, that wasn't removed when they were changed but was never given to the hinder/maim mod. |
