Specific Effects and Visual Clarity

TLDR:
demonic martyr monster has a skill "DemonKamikazeLightningWarp" with no visual effect that is capable of 1 shotting players consistently if they have standard defences.
(84% lightning res -16 from map mod, 6k hp. 35% generic damage reduction, assuming they are in proximity when they hit, since they warp to me and die)



Hello there!

I just died in a theoretically very easy t16.5 map 5 times due to... something.
What u ask? Well i cant be sure. After a bit of resarch I think it were probably "demonic martyr" white mobs.

According to poedb they have a "DemonKamikazeLightningWarp" skill. I cannot say they do as i have not seen any even though i payed a lot of attention just to find out what killed me.
I guess they do and i assume it is dealing a lot of damage but there is no visual indicator.

I have cleared everything around the boss "Lady Stormflay", who i first assumed to be the issue. She is based on lunaris temples "Whipping Miscreation" that have "longer than usual range" melee attacks. So maybe it was her who offscreen killed me? I dont think so anymore, as she continuously spawns these white mobs and i cannot say if some of them dissapeared due to me killing them or because they suicidebomb me on about 1 screen distance.

On my last portal i died when there was 1 miscreation in the topleft corner of my screen not attacking, that is also still alive, so it was not the one who killed me.
So either i died to a 2nd miscreation that used its lightningwarp skill form offscreen, the map boss melee attacking me from off screen or that map just killed me at random.
All of these options feel unfair.
Also im just gonna put in here: pls put a visual indicator on "proximal tangability" monster mod.



Stages in my mind:
1: fuck i died 2: wtf i just entered map and there are only white mobs, what killed me? 3: ok even running around at 108% ms doestn protect me from that melee map boss. 4: wtf does "longer than usual range" allow her to offscreen hit me with a melee attack? 5: hm... that white mob is probably not it but lets check poedb. 6: are u kidding me ggg? your game is so awesome and fucked up :D
