SRS Build, need help improving!

hey guy trying to do 8 mod corruptped t16's and struggling was wondering if someone could look at my pob and see if there was some room for improvement here, this is my second season so still a noob. Would like to increase DMG if i could and survive.

Your build almost reached it's limit. Sure you can craft 12 passive GG clusters but it isn't worth it.

Swap over to Occultist and go Holy Relic of Conviction. Then you can crush the whole game easily, you almost have all the gear anyway for it, just craft the sword, get diallas and swap gems.

With the POB im looking at you should have no isses with 8 mod t16 maps...unless you arent filtering out the extremely bad mods that WILL wreck you and/or the minions, like reduced Aura effect, Less recovery/No regen, Less Block.

Map mods are usually the main issue. Pairing that with increased map mod effect from the Atlas tree exponentially increases the issue. So mods like -10 maximum resists with any for of Phys as extra element, suddenly does way more than you can possibly mitigate when it does break through your block chance, and you have low regen to recover from any hit that you survive. Thus, allowing a smaller hits to then finish the job.

One thing ive always found with minions is without a source of exploding packs, density is almost always an issue because the minions tend to spread out their small amounts of damage across individual monsters, giving them time to stay alive long enough to do damage to you. So even though you may be doing 15 mil single target dmg, the minions spread out with high density only doing 500k-1mil dps per monster allowing them time to get off attacks you don't have the total recovery to come back from.

The point i get really comfortable with doing these maps on SRS Guard is when i finally get my Animated Guardian equipped with an Explode setup. So Grave bind gloves, Crusader influenced body armor with at least 20% chance to explode monsters, then Leer cast helm and Dying breath staff for a 68% minion dmg buff.

Poison, however, also has its issues due to the delay in killing. I have never made a poison SRS setup with normal ascendancies, but in Phrecia i did, and found that the delay in building poison stacks made it feel a lot more dangerous.

Another thing to consider is what you are running within the maps themselves. Some builds just arent good for certain mechanics. I use SRS mainly for either single target, or simple Searing altar farming with no extra content, mainly due to the density issues i mention above.
