Cannot Load One Character

I have 5 seasonal and 5 non seasonal characters. At present I can log into 9 of them. Last night I was respecing my Smith Warrior and was putting a 2 handed mace on as an offhand and the game crashed. I have been unable to log back into that character since. Everything it starts to load the gears stop spinning and the game dies. I can log into the rest of my characters, have reinstalled the game, verified files, cleared cache, changes settings, changed servers, and just about everything else I can think of with no success. Please Help......

Still cannot login to one character. I just tried the other 9 and I can login to all of them with no problems. I would really like to play the character as I just got it to 90.

day 3 update. game still dying after character selection while loading screen is still up. Gears spin, then stop, then move just a little bit more, and then the game dies.

welp day 4 and still nothing. Anyone know how long it takes for GGG to chime in on these threads?

Day 5 and its still the same. geez yall.

Look at that 6 days and I still cant login to the latest character that I got to 90 and was starting to build for endgame.

what is your cpu ? intel 13TH 14th gen?

what is the date of the version of your bios ?

i had these problems , it appears that these gens of cpu has problems as the default setting from motherboards were too harsh , making them tu reach the treshold and crash

i think the last patches just exacerbated the problem

around may 2024 most motherboards companies released bios update that fixed the problem


my version was feb 2024 for all that time

Was it happening on only one of your characters?

Days 7 and 8 in the books. Different machines (at this point I have tried 3 different ones) and still cannot get into that 1 warrior Smith.

And here are days 9 and 10. I guess I can hope that when the season ends I might be able to login to the one character. Oh and in the time I have been waiting for help I almost have a chrono to late endgame.
