A few necessary changes, perhaps.
I would like to address some necessary changes on things that I still don’t know why they are still in the game.
Light radius and visibility I usually like to play weird builds, mainly Relic of the Pact and Dark Pact builds. I find them extremely discomfortable in some maps because of how you treat life and visibility. Light radius should only be linked to blind and never to life. It makes no sense to be so, in fact it made no sence that you changed it in PoE2. Also, Dissolution of the Flesh should override the actual life “meter” for indication purposes when used. Camera distance I get it, you want people to see other’s MTX but when you have a game that allows you to see, most of the times, only 1/5th of an arena is just a bad design. Zoom out the camera everywhere except towns if that’s what you want. There’s no reason not to. Move the boss’ life bar a few pixels down and halve it in height so it won’t take even more screen… or place it above our xp bar Visual effects Can we have a global transparency slider for player skills, it’s getting out of hand and sometimes we can’t see anything in the map with all the pops and flashes going on. Faustus Gold needs to be tied to the most expensive item and not the larger quantity of items traded. It’s cheaper to buy one divine with chaos orbs than 1500 fusing with a divine. It makes no sense whatsoever. I have more things to rant about but I’m out of time now Last bumped on Aug 21, 2025, 4:56:56 AM

Some interesting points about these aspects.
" I think it is an interesting quirky stat. I do not want it removed, but think there are cases where it is a bit of a problem. Low life builds for example, it makes it difficult. I'm making a build with black Sun crest, when I play it some I will comment further if I have much difficulty. Probably relates largely to Visual clarity, which you mentioned later. If the game had more control over the visual clarity as a whole, mechanics like this would have more validity. " Totally agree, I have commented about this on the forum before. The gold per currency values are one aspect of it. I also believe that the gold price for the trade should be split evenly between both parties, regardless of what currency they are trading. As you are pointing out, the currency that is being traded on the exchange is influenced by these prices, and there should not be a big discrepancy in the gold prices, that is only being taken on by one side of the trade. Shouldn't be dictating which currency are getting used as the trading currencies either, beyond what already exists in the game. Last edited by Belegur85#5784 on Aug 17, 2025, 11:35:02 PM

Here's an example of the light issue and trust me when I say this, there are worst situations than this.
![]() Now, let's talk about something else. There's something wrong about the drops and have been for a couple of weeks. ![]() The white box is from PoE Overlay. There's nothing there except my merc. If you can be bothered read the modifiers of my map. I have every single card visible in my filter. 1000% of zero is still zero right? I made a similar run with a friend with the exarch option and my setup for div and currency beyond modifiers and one of the first exarch minions options we got was "drop divination cards" Total cards. Two rats, two "something crappy that I don't remember what". Why bother to use those scarabs since they are useless? Do not change the drop rates during the league unless something is broken from the start! Patches of patch 1 of 2 noun Definition of patch 1 as in blotch a small area that is different (as in color) from the main part a black cat with a small patch of white next to her nose 2 as in speck a very small piece a patch of land hardly big enough for a garden You seem to be confused by the definition because... ![]() and ![]() same map in different places just for you to realise that it's not a "oh, that just happened there". It's a recurring issue. By the way, can we remove portal scrolls like in PoE2 and get rid of wisdom scrolls? Have the items drop identified. I would bet that people rarely pick things up to identify. That being said, it's time to give PoE a rest and have fun in LE. |
