I have 80 Premium Stash tab but how to switch to merchant stash tab

I saw on the new GGG release video you can switch to Merchant stash tab before the new season.

I clicked on the My account and don't see any upgrades to merchant stash.
I clicked on my quad stash to public.

How do I do it ?

It’s a bit confusing the way it’s presented in the video. It kind of gives the impression that you must convert your tabs within a narrow time window of one week, or else you’ll miss the opportunity.

But what will probably happen if you pay attention to the video is that he only says the tabs eligible for conversion are those purchased before the release. He doesn’t actually state that there’s a limited time window for conversion.

So, my prediction is that the tab conversion interface will appear and work for any tab bought even 10 years ago, once the patch launches. They’ll probably also release a clarifying statement, since many people seem confused about this.
same here.

https://pathofexile2.com/my-account/overview
contains only overview subpage.

there is no
https://pathofexile2.com/my-account/connections
like it was on PoE1

When Manage Account will be added to the webpage GUI?
Once you convert all your 80 tabs, you can basically say goodbye to POE1—unless they decide to add a merchant system there as well.

During a POE2 league, if you’ve converted your tabs, you simply can’t go back and play POE1.

This is a terrible design choice, and it needs to be reworked as soon as possible before release.
Why do we even need to convert a tab to another? It's just so weird that both ways of trading will coexist

I haven't played POE 1 for I dunno how long.
I am thinking how I should just get rid of items.

I still have eternal orb.

Thank you for clarification. It was idd very confusing at the stream...
I really want to know how much the upgrade is from premium to merchant.

I've got some points set aside for the league, but i also want to get some other tabs on sale and dont want to run short and be unable to upgrade.

I'm also a bit curious what happens if the tabs have items in them in POE1. Will i need to redownload that and clean them out? please say no. I am *hoping* any occupied tabs simply become remove only like "temp" league ones. That are still sitting there years later because ICBA cleaning them out...

Well to be honest most poe 2 players don't care too much about poe 1
I havet played poe 1 since the release of poe 2 and I'm not the only one not to mantion those who started playing whit poe2 .
But anyways u can just buy more tabs and keep some for poe 1 u still gonna need storage place in ur bank anyways it ain't a bug deal and they are cheap a specially whit discounts:/
I don't think it's a big deal at all 🤨
I can only dream of having enough time to be able to play POE1 AND POE2.
