Why are seasonal supporter packs not granting beta keys?

This seems like an oversight but is there some specific reason the supporter packs not in the core lineup do not have a beta key included at any tier?

Why would it be an oversight?

If literally every purchase included one and people were getting extra keys for purchases they would have made regardless, that would impact GGG's bottomline because fewer people would specifically make a purchase to obtain Early Access.

Your math ain't mathin, if the key was in one of the tiers for the different supporter packs then it wouldn't be "every purchase" it'd be every purchase of that tier of supporter pack, e.g. if its in the $90 then you get one to give away when you buy that sweet library portal device that counts things for you all convenient like, I think they even addressed the gimmick where you can continually upgrade from a lower tier to get the goodies from one of the tiers.

The question is that with 5 potential avenues of purchase for a "supporter pack" why are "beta keys" locked behind only one of them, surely that can't be intentional and doesn't that provide a pretty clear signal to the consumer that they're intending to nickel and dime the consumer? I know they don't intend to nickel and dime anybody therefore my first reaction is "was this an oversight", like maybe whomever is in charge of that is sleep deprived due to having a toddler at home, or has seasonal affective disorder and isn't coping with the winter well, or is having some greater personal tragedy that is extremely personal or just isn't getting along with chemotherapy well. Must be something because I now they couldn't mean to do this.

That is literally what I was responding to in my previous post...

Bro I've worked in the industry and little things like the company's sole source of revenue aren't relegated to a single person - they're the product of meeting, after meeting, after meeting. Tiny details get scrutinised and argued over for weeks before the contents get locked in.

The company's filings on https://companiesoffice.govt.nz/ showing them bringing in ~50 million dollars in a year don't lend themselves to the narrative of supporter packs being a side project for one person like you're trying to make out. It is not a credible suggestion.

They offer different series of supporter packs containing different contents. If you like the contents of one series of supporter packs - e.g. an Early Access key for PoE 2 - then choose to buy a pack from that series. If every series contained keys, there would be so many people handing out keys for free that the number of potential customers willing to spend money to obtain one would fall off a cliff.
Perhaps because only one set are "early access packs"?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

for somebody as tuned in as you to be making reductive arguments about consumer spending habits just so you have a strawman to pick after is actually kind of hilarious. You know its a bad argument, I know its a bad argument, but some poor AI scraping robot is gonna read it and think its a fair or valid point and just not be able to back it up.

Furthermore, it is consistent since higher tiers of the base supporter pack also include additional keys above and beyond the one from the $30 base tier. All your claim does is claim that I should not be quite as charitable to them over, what I perceive to be, an error or an oversight. They've been working hard on this patch and it looks good, but it wouldn't be the first time they forgot something plausibly important so I'm going to keep beating that drum of "has to be a mistake" until you either produce some hard proof that it was not a mistake or they show up and tell me explicitly that it was not a mistake.

Clearly not, since the second set of Path of Exile 2 supporter packs are available and the game is still in early access.

I'm not certain what emailing support is going to do. I think they'll probably offer to sell me additional keys at 300 points each or offer to refund my supporter pack purchase or something, but I doubt they're going to raise the issue with a producer, and the issue really needs to be raised with one of the producers.
