Severe Lag After Patch 0.3.0

Ever since updating to Patch 0.3.0 for Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict, I’ve been experiencing heavy lag in-game.
My FPS is stable around 70, and my ping is about 14ms, so performance metrics look fine on paper. But the game feels choppy and almost unplayable. Has anyone else run into this since the update? game plays like ass. Just keep getting lag spikes.
