Premium / Merchant Stash Tabs convertion - a suggestion

I think most of the players (except a few here on the forum) will be happy with the addition of the new trade system. It will simplify things on the long run. That said, I guess a bigger part of the community will have problems with the idea of premium stash tabs having to be converted, if you want to use the new merchant trade system. Most people bought premium stash tabs, because it was the "only" reasonable way to actually trade effectively in this game. With the introduction of the merchant stash tabs, there are now 2 ways to trade and people will have a hard time telling which system is more effective right now, especially since it's just released and will very likely receive alot of tweaks before it really works well.

So the question comes up, should players concert or not? And I wonder: Why not implement a switch in premium stash tabs, that lets us switch between those 2, at least until 1.0 is released. This way, people wouldn't hesistate to switch and try out the new merchant stash tabs more willingly, giving you more data/feedback to make it better until release. And if you need another source of income through these stash tabs, then offer the conversion at the end of the alpha. I just want people to be able to try it out in a good way, so that you (GGG) get enough data to make this work.

tell me do you still use the trade site bulk currency exchange or the in game aysc trade currency exchange???

if you cannot immediately see how aysc trade will be more efficient then the current whisper player system. . .well to be honest I cannot see how any could not see it.

no one is going to use the old system, and the people who do will probably get increased scrutiny from GGG for possible RMT. . .
Do you want to PM people and hope they respond?

or do you want to go and buy the item?

I think its pretty clear which will win overall, but it may depend on how much the upgrade is.

I'll probably still search both (because i know people are stubborn/uninformed and will use the old system) but i'll only be selling on the new system because i hate returning from a map only to have 3-4 buyers just never show up.

I think it's clear they intend to phase out premium tabs as a method of trade, but they will absolutely keep them functional (like all previous trade methods). People still sell stuff in the trade channels all these years later ....

The question is, if merchant stash tabs are insode of the storage and if you can use them as normal storage, like you can do with premium stash tabs.

I rather spend 50 euro to buy more stash then go back to the old system .
Short answer is yes, mainly because you have to put an item in the storage before you set a price, and you have to set a price to sell it.

Question though would be "are they the same size?" which i'd assume is yes, but wont know till GGG confirms it/release.
