GGG + COMMUNITY - What helps and what doesn't?

I think this little Youtube-Short shows perfectly how Jonathan and the team care for PoE2:

This whole vibe that's going on during the alpha, especially here in the forum, is alot of stress for GGG, especially for those in charge. I mean, I see the first page of the feedback section and there are already posts again that have this "poe2 is doomed and GGG is doing everything wrong" vibe since the announcement of 0.3. Like any of you know how to actually develop a game as complex as PoE2. You guys are like soccer fans that sit in front of a TV and shouting "I would have made this ball in!!!" or "ARE YOU BLIND? I would've catched that ball easily!!!". You have no clue, you don't know this business or line of work at all and all you can do is spread toxicity, putting tons of pressure and stress on people that - so I'm fully convinced - are giving their best to create an awesome ARPG.

I'm not saying that critics aren't allowed. Ofc we should talk about the things that bother us and point out mechanics that are no fun or are not working right now. But the way you guys do this could actually break some people out there on a psychological level. Especially those who go against GGG or single people from GGG like Jonathan and swearing and blaming them for things that are still object of change... I mean, it wouldn't be the first time in human history that prominent people quit their career or - worse - committing suicide in the end, because they couldn't bear the incredible amount of pressure coming from the public. And that's the problem with the internet: People are anonymous, are far away and therefore they don't think about the consequences their messages hold.

But the worst thing right now is, that you brutally criticize the new patch without having played it. You just look at the patch notes and some numbers and immediatly jump to negative conclusions, like certain skills and classes are automatically nerfed/doomed and no one will play it. You can make this judgement once you have played it, but doing it now? This just shows you don't want to give feedback, you just want to be toxic. Because feedback is only worth something, if you actually experienced the whole things, which none of you have and the changes that are coming are too big to fully comprehend how it actually will feel.

So calm down, think twice about the consequences of your message before posting something and then proceed to give constructive feedback that can actually be used... Really feels like a kindergarden here, because young children are also not able to hold back and say things that can hurt others. But children are mentally not able to understand this at their age - so what about you?

People have always been anonymous and mean on the internet, this is not a new phenomenon and you're blowing this way out of proportion.
Adults don't take feedback personally whatever the medium it is delivered in.

Trolls/flamers are ignored and most probably ridiculed internally (I would hope so).

Well, look at the video. Jonathan actually seemed very bothered with the vibe that was going on and I'm saying this knowing that not everyone was absolutely negative about PoE2. But some people take it too far.

And even though flamers/trolls should be ignored, these people still hold alot of power. There are children out there commiting suicide because of groups in their school that post mean stuff on instagram about them. There are prominent people going into depression because too many people on the internet say tons of really hurtful stuff. I'm not talking about things like "I think 0.3 is going to be bad", I talk about posts that personally attack GGG and single devs without having providing any useful feedback at all. It's like these people are here just to harm others instead of helping the game getting better then it is right now...
Yeah there are some unhinged people out there, but they are a tiny minority of a very tiny minority that even bothers to use the forums.
Hence not representative of the community as a whole in any way, shape or form.

People like that don't really respond well to logic and reason either, so I guess my point is that they MUST be ridiculed and ignored.

Which doesn't happen sadly. Once they enter a topic (or opening their own), people feed the trolls, leading to a very toxic exchange, completely derailing some topics that were constructive at start.
What doesnt EVER help is listening to streamers.
