After 8 months this game still doesn't have a melee spin-to-win skill...

What are GGG doing over there? Melee spin-to-win is a core ARPG gameplay style that still is not implemented in the game after months and months of waiting.

Last Epoch - spin to win from the start.
D4 - spin to win from the start.
TQ2 - spin to win from the start.

PoE2 - no spin to win at all.

It should have been in at launch, now we're looking at potentially waiting for longer than a year before the next opportunity for the melee haters at GGG to finally release it.

Utterly depressing.

I did pretty good with whirling slash and twisters in 0.2. Whirling slash done right is pretty spin to win but admittedly twisters are quite strong as well.

Whirling Slash/Twisters is more of a projectile based build, not a PBAOE spin-to-win skill like Cyclone or Whirlwind.
They're not letting flicker strike flicker across the map. I'm terrified of what they're going to try and call cyclone or RF lol. Gonna consume a frenzy charge power second of channeling cyclone or something like that to force you to press other buttons.
Melee especially str/dex and str melee isnt on their radar of things that matter.

Not if you want to play this particular ARPG like how you've always played ARPGs.

Instead, you have to play with slow maces and god awful skills because the devs are too lazy to actually make Melee good.
