What could make PoE 2 different from other ARPGs
Hello,
I think the best ARPG I have played recently wxcept PoE 2 was Titan Quest 2. It just felt polished. Your mana was always to be used properly. Something that I am still missing in PoE 2. PoE 2 seems to want to be more complex than for example Titan Quest 2 and I like that. Sometimes it felt like I was truly tinkering on my character, which involved some more thinking on my part than is usually the case with other ARPGs. It is also why I like PoE 1 skill tree so much. This might speak to a different audience. One that is bored by conventional ARPGs, which maybe makes PoE 2 a niche product, but one I would definitely enjoy for a long time if this feeling of tinkering on your character was polished more and if I had the feeling that I needed to make the correct choices or lose, which isn't always the case at the moment. Sometimes I think that your choices don't matter enough yet, which essentially means one can do choice x, y or z and not lose the game, because all of them are valid or sometimes the game feels like it doesn't matter which choices you make, you will lose anyway. I believe a game like this, even though build variety needs to be enabled, needs to be a game in the traditional sense still in that you need to make the correct choices in how to build your character or lose. I suppose this will become better and better the more polish the game will get. In kind regards Last edited by Naharez#3496 on Aug 25, 2025, 5:27:42 PM Last bumped on Aug 25, 2025, 4:38:39 PM
